Ian is a self-taught artist who works in oil, acrylic, and watercolour to create his paintings. Born and raised in Montreal, he moved to Ontario ten years ago, and currently lives in Courtice. Here he continues to apply the techniques and creative talents that he has developed over the years.
lan's skill has won him an award of "Honorary Mention" at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery in Oshawa. His paintings have been sold throughout Canada, England, Italy, and the United States.
Another love of his is to take day trips to photograph images that form a basis for his inspiration. “When someone is looking at a painting there has to be something that pulls them in and connects them to it.
