Fay's early years were spent on a family farm in Barrie, Ontario, and it was during this time that she developed a deep love and appreciation for nature. This appreciation is reflected in her art today,
Fay later moved to Toronto, where she graduated from the Faculty of Education, University of Toronto, and subsequently taught in secondary schools in Scarborough, Ontario.
Fay is a grandmother with three daughters and five granddaughters and with her husband Bill, has travelled to all corners of the globe, satisfying a natural curiosity for the people and places of the world.
Although Fay is a self taught oil artist, she participates in many shows and has won numerous awards. Her paintings now hang in many homes internationally.
She currently lives in Newcastle, and is a member of the Scarborough Arts Council and the Oshawa Art Association. |
