Birdwatching with Markus Lise

I am a member of the Durham Region Field Naturalist (DRFN) and a contributor to their Newsletter. I write a column entitled: "Birds of a Feather" on a weekly basis in the Orono Times. Searching for and identifying local birds will be the challenge in this course.

I will be using the laptop for projecting images of different birds with video clips.
I will be exploring different feeders and bird baths to use in the winter as well as the summer. I will discuss the various species as they arrive back from their migration and focus on them as they arrive.

For half of my presentations I will be driving out to some good bird feeders where many birds congregate.

DATE: October 2 - 6 classes
TIME: Saturdays from noon to 2pm
